Jersey Shore‘s newest cast member, Jonny ‘The Unit’ Manfre, has been charged with felony drug possession.
32-year-old Manfre, a childhood friend of Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, was introduced Thursday night on the Season 5 premiere of the MTV reality show, in which he claims he witnessed the hookup between The Situation and Snooki — which she has always vehemently denied.
Manfre was arrested in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on July 24, 2011 for possession of the drug Ketamine (street name ‘Special K’), a horse tranquilizer that can cause “dream-like states and hallucinations.”
He was indicted in December for 3rd degree felony possession of a controlled substance, according to RadarOnline.
